ROADRUNNERS FALL TO ONTARIO REIGN 4-1 ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT FROM THE TOYOTA ARENA

ONTARIO, CA – Curtis Douglas and the Tucson Roadrunners did not go down without a fight as they fell 4-1 to the Ontario Reign to drop to 35-20-3-2 on the year from the Toyota Arena. The score is not indictive of the back-and-forth dog fight between the Tucson Roadrunners and the Ontario Reign on Wednesday evening from the Toyota Arena. The Ontario Reign added two empty-netters late in the third to pull away from what was a one-goal game for the first 59 minutes and 12 seconds of play.

Josh Doan, a forward from Scottsdale, has 45 points (25 goals, 20 assists) in 60 games this year, his first full professional season.

This is the Tucson Roadrunners second four-game unbeaten streak in the month of March (yes, we know there are still 11 days in March, this team is really good) and fifth streak of at least four games of going unbeaten in four-straight games this year.

Forward Curtis Douglas squares off with an Ontario Reign player just 1:59 into the game on Wednesday evening. Douglas, who leads the team with 110 PIMs, has been a force to be reckoned with in the AHL this season dropping the gloves 8 times. Douglas is approaching his personal high in PIMs which he did with the Roadrunners in 2022-2023 with 119. Douglas is a fifth-year-pro and second-year Roadrunner.
