DII: Byram Hills dethrones Pelham to win first Section 1 hockey championship in program history
DI: Suffern reclaims Section 1 hockey title with a win over Clarkstown
A.J. Levy, Clarkstown
The senior goalie made 43 saves in a semifinal win over Rye Town/Harrison and 52 saves during a loss to Suffern in the Division I championship game.
Ryan Nichols, Byram Hills
The junior forward finished sectionals with seven goals and five assists in three games. He got four goals, including the game-winner, and three assists in a semifinal victory at Pawling and one goal in a 4-3 upset win over Pelham in the championship.
Julian Gahr, Rye Town/Harrison
The sophomore from Harrison scored twice in a 3-1 quarterfinal win over Cortland and netted two more in a 4-2 semifinal loss to Clarkstown.
Ayden Greenberg, Suffern
The senior forward got the Mounties started and kept them going with a pair of goals in a 2-0 win over rival Clarkstown in the Division I title game.
Ari Israel, Rye Country Day
The junior goalie helped the Wildcats capture the Fairchester Tournament making 54 saves over two games, allowing just two goals. RCDS beat Hamden Hall 7-1 for the title.
