Lily Hendrikson Named Hockey East Defender Of The Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I.–Junior Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.) of the Providence College women’s hockey team was named Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced on Monday. Feb. 26.
 
Hendrikson recorded three points across two games against Merrimack. On Friday, Feb. 23, Hendrikson netted the game-winner in the third period. On Saturday, Feb. 24, Hendrikson recorded two assists. Providence went on to win 4-1 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday.   

UP NEXT

The No. 5 seeded Friars will travel to Chestnut Hill, Mass. on Friday, Mar. 1 to face No. 4-seed Boston College in the quarterfinal round of the Hockey East Tournament. Puck drop is set for 6:00 p.m.
