No. 5 Princeton Day holds off Morristown-Beard for one goal win

Five different players scored for Princeton Day, ranked No. 5 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 5-4 victory over Morristown-Beard.

Liam Jackson, Wyatt Ewanchyna, Jake Harrison, Brady Logue, and Chase Logue each scored a goal apiece for Princeton Day (9-4).

The Panthers erupted for four goals in the first period and led 4-2 at the first intermission. Trailing by two goals entering the third period, Morristown-Beard scored shorthanded off the stick of Evan Jones but couldn’t complete a late comeback.

Mason Hriczov made 40 saves in net for the Crimson (6-7-1), while Mason Squashic (two goals), Nicholas Zayas (one goal), and Jones provided the scoring.
