TONIGHT
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms conclude their five-game homestand with a Sunday matinee confrontation against the rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Lehigh Valley (31-24-6) is in fifth place in the Atlantic Division as the team closes in on a Calder Cup Playoff berth.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (24-26-10) has three out of four points this weekend and has their work cut out for them in order to make up a six-point deficit on Bridgeport for the last playoff spot.
There are just 11 games remaining for the Phantoms with six at home.

Ronnie Attard notched his 11th goal of the season but Lehigh Valley couldn’t break Hunter Shepard again as the Phantoms went 0-for-5 on the power play in a 2-1 setback on St. Patrick’s Day. Sam Anas struck with less than ten minutes remaining for the tie-breaking power-play marker in his first game back in three months following an injury.

PLAYOFF OUTLOOK
The top six teams in the Atlantic Division qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs and the fourth-place team will receive home-ice advantage for the first round of the postseason. Lehigh Valley is in fifth place in the division and just two points back of fourth-place Springfield for home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Phantoms are five points ahead of seventh-place Hartford at the playoff cut-line.
Lehigh Valley’s Magic Number to clinch a playoff spot is now 18 points (which is points acquired by Lehigh Valley and also points missed by Hartford) and the Phantoms.
The current standings would have the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Springfield Thunderbirds meeting in the first round in the 5 vs. 4 series in a Best of 3 matchup. The winner would advance to a Best of 5 division semifinals series.

TYSON TIME!
Tyson Foerster has had a big week with the Philadelphia Flyers including his first NHL assist on a Joel Farabee goal on Friday against Buffalo and then his first NHL goal on Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

HATS OFF!!
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have racked up three hat tricks in the last month including two within the last week. Garrett Wilson recorded hat tricks on February 20 and March 15 while Cooper Marody had a dramatic game-tying hat trick…
