The Belleville Senators’ pursuit of a Calder Cup playoff appearance continues to take centre stage this week as they welcome the Utica Comets (New Jersey Devils) to CAA Arena on Wednesday night before visiting the Cleveland Monsters (Columbus Blue Jackets) for a weekend set that will have significant postseason implications.

Wednesday, March 8: Belleville 5 at Laval 1
A dominant performance on special teams helped make the difference as Belleville Senators earned a crucial victory over the Laval Rocket to begin the week. Netminders Dylan Ferguson and Luke Richardson combined to make 38 saves in the win, while Ridly Grieg, Lassi Thomson (2), Cole Reinhardt and Roby Jarventie all found the back of the net for the visitors at Place Bell.
Friday, March 10: Belleville 3 at Utica 4 (OT)
A strong road effort saw the Senators earn a valuable point in a tightly contested overtime affair against the Utica Comets. Belleville received goals from Lassi Thomson, Angus Crookshank, and Egor Sokolov, as rookie Luke Richardson made 26 saves throughout the night.
Saturday, March 11: Belleville 3 at Lehigh Valley 4 (OT)
The Senators collected another hard-fought point in a valiant effort against Lehigh Valley Phantoms as they concluded a week-long three-game road trip. Veteran forward John Quenneville scored twice, and sophomore phenom Roby Jarventie capitalized on a power play time to help pace the offence as newly acquired goaltender Ryan Bednard made 28 saves in his debut with the organization.
