News: Tuesday Highlights: Whale blank Beauts

A rare mid-week matchup in the Premier Hockey Federation, rescheduled as a result of a November postponement.

Buffalo Beauts 0, Connecticut Whale 3

Abbie Ives recorded her second shutout of the season, turning aside all 17 shots faced to backstop Connecticut to a win over Buffalo in Milford. Offensively, a trio of Whale continued their consistent production as the team reclaimed fourth place in the overall standings ahead of Montreal. Justine Reyes converted on a two-on-one with Katerina Mrazova at 7:47 of the middle frame for her second goal in four games. Kennedy Marchment tallied for the third straight game and extended her point-streak to five. Mrazova also found the back of the net for the third game in a row and has five points in that span. The Beauts attack was blanked for the third time this season, with Lovisa Berndtsson stopping 28 shots between-the-pipes.
