Pingry ties No. 18 Rumson-Fair Haven – Boys ice hockey recap

Henry Pyne scored a hat trick, including a game-tying power-play goal in the third period, as Pingry rallied for a 3-3 tie against Rumson-Fair Haven, No. 18 in the NJ.com Top 20, at the Red Bank Armory Ice Complex.

Nik Doumas had a pair of goals for Rumson-Fair Haven and put the hosts in front 3-2 in the third period before Pyne salvaged a tie for Pingry.

Dougmas also had an assist and Dominic Panke had a goal and an assist for Rumson-Fair Haven, which stayed unbeaten in its last three games and is now 5-4-3.

Adrian Kurylko collected two assists for Pingry, which is 5-4-1.
