Cece Ziegler earns her first NESCAC Player of the Week award.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Ziegler started the year strong, tallying three assists in the year’s first contest.
  • She dished out helpers on the initial three goals for Middlebury, helping the squad take its first lead of Friday’s game (3-2) and eventually top the Bantams 4-2.
  • Ziegler didn’t let up, scoring during the first period to help the Panthers top Trinity on Saturday.
  • Her four points are tied for first in the NESCAC, first among blueliners in the league and are just two shy of her point total from a year ago.

Ziegler and the rest of the Panthers are back in action on Tuesday when they host in-state foe Castleton in Kenyon Arena at 4:00 p.m.
