MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin men’s hockey team skated to their third-straight victory with a 4-3 win over Lindenwood on Friday at the Kohl Center.
The Badgers overcame an early Lindenwood goal and an own-goal that put them behind 3-2 early in the third period for the victory. Freshman defenseman Tyson Jugnauth’s first career goal proved the difference.
Lindenwood (4-9-0 Independent) got on the scoreboard two minutes into the first period when Caleb Price got past goaltender Kyle McClellan with a backhand deke, set up by Andy Willis.
The Lions’ lead was short-lived. Less than two-minutes later, Zach Urdahl found the back of the net from just above the goal line to tie the score at one a piece. Owen Lindmark passed to Mike Vorlicky on the point who fired a shot and set up a rebound for Urdahl to hammer in the net.
