Princeton completed the weekend sweep with a 1-0 win at Brown, a fine follow-up to Friday night’s 3-0 win at Yale.
The back-to-back shutouts are the first for Princeton since the Tigers blanked Yale (4-0; 3/16/08) and Colgate (3-0; 3/21/08) during 2008 ECAC Playoffs.
Ethan Pearson, the NCAA leader in goals-against average, made 21 saves for his second consecutive shutout.
Jack Cronin scored the deciding goal, wiring home his third PPG of the season early in the third period.

The weekend sweep is the first for the Tigers since they had a similar unblemished trip to Yale and Brown at the start of last season.
The Tigers carried the play in the first period, outshooting Brown by a 12-4 margin. Princeton had three power plays in the first period, but was unable to break through on the man-advantage.
In the second period, Ethan Pearson was a bit busier and he stood up to the task with numerous saves, none larger than back-to-back stops on Wyatt Schlaht just under five minutes into the period.

Jack Cronin finally gave the Tigers a lead with a power-play goal 5:25 into the third period. Princeton needed just five second on the extra-man to net the goal, with Adam Robbins winning a faceoff and Pito Walton sliding a pass over to Cronin who one-timed his third PPG of the season top corner.
The Tigers are set for a home-and-home with Quinnipiac next weekend, hosting the Bobcats on November 18 before making the trip to Hamden the following night.
