BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Dec. 20, 2021 – After the final weekend of action in 2021, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association honors four student-athletes as WCHA Players of the Week, presented by Sterling Trophy.

Madison Mashuga, So., Minnesota State (Andover, Minn.)
Earning the first WCHA weekly award in her career is Madison Mashuga as she posted a two-point weekend against Bemidji State for WCHA Forward of the Week honors. She had a goal and an assist on the weekend, while her goal was the game-tying tally to force overtime in Saturday’s 1-1 (OT) tie. It was a game that Minnesota State went on to claim the extra WCHA point with a shootout win.
