– Marie-Philip Poulin (Beauceville, Que.) scored the
winner in overtime for the second consecutive game as
Canada’s National Women’s Team earned a 3-2 victory over the United States in Game 6 of the Rivalry Series
on Friday night at the Centene Community Ice Center.
• Poulin finished with a goal and an assist.
• Sarah Fillier (Georgetown, Ont.)
and Emily Clark (Saskatoon, Sask.) added Canada’s
other goals.
• Brianne Jenner (Oakville, Ont.)
had a pair of assists in the win.
• Mélodie Daoust (Valleyfield, Que.)
and Jocelyne Larocque (Ste. Anne, Man.) added an
assist each.
• Emerance Maschmeyer (Bruderheim, Alta.)
turned aside 28 shots.
• Canada narrowly outshot the U.S. 31-30.
